The Blu-ray of the tour footage alone justifies the price, but it's the two rehearsal discs that really got me — hearing him work through the arrangements before the shows is fascinating. Six CDs sounds like overkill until you realize each night has its own character.

The two rehearsal discs are the real revelation here — hearing them work through the arrangements before the shows is something I never expected to get. Six CDs plus a Blu-ray for this price felt almost too good, and the '72 sound quality holds up way better than I feared.

    Eli N. ★★★★☆

Four full shows plus the two rehearsals on six discs is a lot of 1972 to dig through, and the rehearsal takes are the real highlight for me. Only gripe is the packaging, the discs are stacked tight and a couple came out with smudges I had to wipe.
